Solomon Chen
Solomon Chen attended the University of California Irvine where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. After undergraduate studies, Solomon began working for several major entertainment studios throughout Southern California. While working full-time, Solomon attended Southwestern University School of Law during the evening to obtain his Juris Doctor degree.
Prior to practicing Workers’ Compensation defense, Solomon gained experience administering and reviewing large volumes of intellectual property and content licensing contracts for large media companies. He was able to leverage his exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to greatly contribute to challenging ad-hoc projects and complex business scenarios. Solomon was able to transition these skills to workers' compensation defense practice by efficiently managing client expectations and pushing cases to expedient resolution.
Solomon enjoys diving into the discovery process and analyzing Labor Codes and case law to identify nuances and interpretations of certain med-legal statutes. Solomon’s attention to detail and ability to objectively value a case at onset make him a trusted advocate for clients. These attributes have led Solomon to effectively mitigate exposure and resolve cases for nuisance value.
At Park|Guenthart Solomon has defended employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and municipalities in the greater Los Angeles area.
In his spare time, Solomon enjoys hiking, photography, and playing/watching basketball.
